Privacy Policy

Clipping Hunter, a JETCompany OÜ service · Last updated 7 September 2026

This page says exactly what we collect, why we hold it, who touches it and how to get it deleted. It covers the free trial and the paid service.

1Who is responsible

JETCompany OÜ, registry code 17127779, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia, is the data controller. For anything in this policy, including access and deletion requests, write to hello@clippinghunter.com.

2What we collect when you ask for a trial

The trial form asks for five things: your work email address, a brand name, the name of its spokesperson, the name of one competitor and the market you want covered. We also record the date of the request, the campaign or page you came from, and whether you opened our emails and clicked their links.

We do not ask for a password, a payment method or any special category of personal data, and the form does not use third-party advertising trackers.

3Why we hold it, and on what basis

4Names of journalists and spokespeople

The Service processes information published in the press: bylines, outlet names, article titles, dates and links. This is professional information already made public by the publisher, held so that press teams can see who covers their sector. Anyone who appears in it can ask us to remove their record at the address above and we will do so.

5Who processes the data with us

We do not sell data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to anyone else except when the law requires it.

6Where the data lives

Inside the European Union, in Ireland. The tone classification is processed by a supplier that may operate outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards its own terms provide.

7How long we keep it

Trial requests and their summaries are kept for twelve months from the request, so that we can answer questions about a report we sent. If you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted, we remove your contact record and keep only the minimum needed to honour that request, which is your address on a suppression list so that we never write to you again.

8Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to it. Write to hello@clippinghunter.com and we will answer within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, or to the authority in your own country, which in the United Kingdom is the Information Commissioner's Office and in Ireland the Data Protection Commission.

9Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The only external file it loads is the typeface, served by Google Fonts. Our emails include an invisible image that tells us when a message is opened, and their links pass through our own domain so we can count clicks. Both stop working the moment you unsubscribe.

10Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and, where the change affects data we already hold about you, by email.

In plain words

We keep your email and the brand you asked about, we use them to run your summary and to write to you about it, we never sell them, and one email gets everything deleted.
